Dress Pants: Do They Have a Place in My Wardrobe?
Right now I’m trying to ensure that what I buy actually reflects my personal style. I think dress pants are definitely easy and practical which is important for my lifestyle. The wide-leg and neutral color are true to who I am. I think the classic pinstripe takes it up a notch. The pants are versatile and I could wear them in a variety of scenarios. But,

Clearing My Cache: My Past Self, My Present Style
Not long ago, I saw a post on Social Media that asked, “Does your style match your Pinterest board?” Do people still use Pinterest? I use it for all types of inspiration, but I never post anything. Anyway, I immediately pulled up my style boards and no my style did not match my Pinterest boards. In fact, the majority of what I was pinning were looks that I loved, but didn’t reflect my current life. That was the first time that I realized the misalignment in the way I see myself.

Allow Me to Reintroduce CurvyPlusStyle
CurvyPlusStyle is dedicated to curvy, full-figured fashion, and more specifically, the pear-shaped body🍐. I created the thing that I wanted. I wanted to know how clothes, from new plus size brands as well as established straight size brands, would fit my body. I wanted the intimacy of the blogging era. I wanted personal style. I wanted to relate. And I just wanted to talk about fashion, not as someone whose job it is to talk about fashion, but as a regular person.

It’s 2025. Why a fashion blog?
The problem is I don’t know what’s next. The economy is tightening up and I’m trying to pivot into something a little different. Normally, I feel confident in betting on myself. Presently, I’m not anxious, but I’m also not confident. Work is a big part of my life and I think about it a lot. Rather than obsessing over my current state of affairs, I’d like to divert that energy into something meaningful to me.
